Carol and Evan celebrated their mountain top wedding overlooking Cherry Valley from Crestview Chapel at Stroudsmoor with their reception following in Ridgecrest.

Imagine your wedding day begins relaxing in our spa & wedding salon while skilled stylists prepare your make-up and wedding do – Carol did. Then see yourself dressing with your mother and closest friends in the comfort of a 1000 square foot Ledgemere Suite – one of Stroudsmoor’s grandest guest accommodations – Carol did. Delight over your wedding bouquet and the maids flowers created especially to match your wedding style – Carol did. Now imagine, the groom and his men gathering, jackets in hand with rings and marriage license in tow – Evan did. After all this, they were prepared for the wedding ceremony . . .
High atop the Stroudsmoor Mountain, surrounded by the Poconos, you say your vows under the clear blue skies and a view unequalled by any in the region – Carol and Evan did. The ceremony included the lighting of the unity candle, the shedding of tears (of joy), the saying of vows and several first kisses – as Carol and Evan’s did. The breathtaking view swept the Bride off her feet – several times in Carol’s case. The Bridal Party photographed well and the reception began with only one hitch – Carol and Evan’s.
Following a cocktail hour complemented by signature drinks and unlimited of hors d’oeuvres, the dining room opened and guests were greeted by 16’ ceilings and miles of Pocono Mountains – viewed from the windows of Ridgecrest. First dance, toasting, blessing and feeding (the cake) all happened as the sun was setting over the mountains. Then came the sweetest favors from a confection station and the evening ends with a barrage of fabulous fireworks – Carol and Evan’s did!
