First, thank you to Judy in the Bridal Registry for helping us out with so many important little details – from invitations, to bridesmaid jewelry, to escort cards, table numbers, and programs. Next, I must thank Susan Bernadette from the bottom of my heart for bringing Amanda’s vision for her ceremony and reception to life perfectly – from all the bouquets (especially Amanda’s bouquet – she commented so many times how much she loved it), to the pews at the church with the pictures and calla lilies, to the gingerbread lantern centerpieces and the flowers on the cake at Terraview. Everything about the decor at Terraview and the way it was staged was perfect and brought Amanda to happy tears when she first saw it. It was so classy and elegant, but not too extravagant – exactly what Amanda dreamed and more. As her mother, I can’t thank you enough for that. Finally, a great big thank you to our event planner and her assistant. Thank you both for working with us from day one and making sure everything ran smoothly and exactly as we asked. We loved your personality, and Ashley’s as well. Ashley was so attentive to Amanda and Bob all night long, and she did it with a great big smile on her face. “I was just there this past weekend for my brother and sister-in-law’s wedding. Starting at the rehearsal Friday night, up until the breakfast Sunday morning I have not a single complaint. The grounds were gorgeous. The rooms spacious and clean. The entire venue was amazing. Every single person that I met who worked there was so nice and courteous. They would have gone out of their way to make us happy. Friday night: We had the buffet in the restaurant. There was fresh seafood as well as steak and chicken. There was not a single thing eaten by our group of 22 that tasted bad. They had chicken fingers and french fries for the kids even though it wasn’t part of the buffet. Saturday (Wedding Day): Checking in at the hotel was fast and they made sure all accommodations were correct. We needed a crib and it was in the room ready for us. The people taking care of the bridal party were completely amazing. They even took a drink order for us and had it ready as soon as the ceremony was over while we were taking pictures. The cocktail hour hors d’oeuvres were fantastic and a great variety. Everyone serving was very nice. The reception was wonderful as well. The set up in the room was gorgeous and the food was wonderful. We asked the waiter to leave my daughter’s food on the table because she might come back to it and he left it there all night. The owner Linda gave all the children a gift bag with a book and some candy in it. I thought that was very sweet of her. They had this great cookie and milk station that was to die for. Sunday morning: The continental breakfast was nice. They had the usual bagels, muffins, and cereal. One of the waiters heard my daughter say she wanted something else and he offered to get her anything she wanted even though we were at the free continental breakfast. Check out was fast and easy. When we got home my husband realized he forgot his phone charger in the room. I called the hotel and they said that housekeeping found it and since we lived in NY they were mailing it back to us. My entire family loved it so much, 18 of us are going back for the Grand Buffet for Father’s Day. I definitely recommend this place for an affair, just dinner or even a night away from the kids.”

Then when I was ready for alcohol he came up with a delicious drink for me. Larissa was so sweet and took very good care of me throughout the night making sure I had tissues when needed. “I have told many of you about my niece Jessica’s wedding this weekend, and while it was a beautiful event in a fabulous place and they were so in love…I of course have to tell you about the food (the booze goes without saying…but the bourbon bar, coffee with additives and mint Julep bars were three of my favorites)!!! . . . Look at the Hors d’oeuvre list; me and Ed visited each “station” then stood where the servers came out of the kitchen and we were their first stop. After about 45 minutes both of us were actually turning down food!!! I have never eaten this much “good food” in my life. Then there was dinner (mine was tenderloin of beef with mushroom gravy (Bordelaise Sauce) and shrimp and scallops, and they came around with chicken, scallops and shrimp if you wanted more….and again we turned it down!!). Then at 10:00 there was the “after party” with another food list as long as the first, and I included a picture of me eating a turkey leg… from the wing bar! Yes the wedding was beautiful, the couple was stunning and I’m not saying it was all about the food but take a look at the hors d’oeuvre list!!”

Everyone loved our centerpieces and bouquets. They handled our invitations, programs, and save the dates, which all came out great! I got my hair and makeup done at the Stroudsmoor salon onsite, and they did an AWESOME job! She did exactly what I asked and make me look beautiful!
