Tell us how & when you met each other. What was your first impression of one another, & at what moment did you know you’d be together forever?
We met each other on an online dating app in 2016. For our first date we met at a Barnes and Noble and then went to a movie and had dinner afterwards. I thought my husband was very gentle and kind. He was a gentleman and we had nice conversations during our date. I knew we would be together forever after a few months of dating. We had so much fun on our dates and we were both laid back people so we got along very well.
Tell us about the proposal, share some pics, and show us your ring!
Sal proposed to me in El Salvador while we were visiting some of his family on vacation. We went to a resort that day and he proposed to me in front of the ocean. There was also a dj at the resort so he announced our engagement. It was a magical moment!
What led you to Stroudsmoor Country Inn? What inspired you to celebrate your wedding with us?
We looked at a lot of venues, but we fell in love with the rustic and beautiful Woodsgate venue! I loved the ceremony archway in the woods and the square windows in the venue. We also loved the inn because of the beautiful scenic views of the mountains.
What is the one menu item that sticks out above all else from your wedding celebration? What about your favorite décor detail?
I really liked the pasta dish I had. All my guests raved about the hors d’oeuvres. The hanging flowers and vines from the rafters were my favorite decor detail.
What made your Wedding Journey with us most memorable?
The ceremony space made our wedding journey most memorable. The woods were beautiful in September!
Now that you’ve celebrated your first anniversary, what is the biggest adventure, milestone, memory, etc. that you’ve shared with your partner since your Stroudsmoor wedding?
Our biggest milestone is that we were blessed with two beautiful daughters. It is wonderful to see how our family has grown!
