Jessica Allison and Todd DiNetta

Jessica and Todd met on a blind date at a restaurant in Boonton, NJ. Jessica’s cousin’s wife (Kate) would say to her at family events, “I know this guy that you would be great with!” Coincidentally, Kate worked with Todd and was saying the exact same thing to him! They connected on Facebookand then shortly after, on a Saturday morning Todd picked up the phone and called Jessica! Jessica was instantly impressed as people hardly pick up the phone to make a call! They met in person the very next day, and both felt an immediate connection.
Todd loved Jessica’s smile from the start. They sat at the restaurant for hours not realizing the daylight turned to night. At the end of the night, Jessica offered to drive Todd to his car since he had to park far away from the restaurant. Before he left the car, Jessica gave him an ultimatum to kiss her! He did … and it was magical.
Todd and Jessica worked together landscaping and beautifying their backyard into a cozy oasis. It was especially helpful having a fenced in yard, with two dogs on the loose! On the hottest day in mid May, 2017, Jessica was running some errands after school. When she got home, she joined Todd and the dogs in the backyard. Todd was doing a bit of gardening and told Jessica they should plant some pumpkins this season (because that is her favorite!). As Jessica got the pack of pumpkin seeds for Todd, she saw the ring inside. When she turned to Todd, he was already on one knee and asked her the most important question!
Jessica and Todd immediately fell in love with Lawnhaven at Stroudsmoor. They felt welcomed by the staff and could picture having their wedding at that venue. There was no comparison to the happiness they felt after their first tour around the property.
It’s so hard to pick just ONE detail of our wedding day as there were so many! Linda and her “crew” made sure all of our dreams came true. One of the most notable moments was realizing that we could get married on the lawn after there was a monsoon the day before!
Jessica and Todd’s favorite part of the reception was dancing the evening away! It started out with the Love and Harmony Wedding Trio, acoustically playing their wedding song, followed by Global Productions (the DJ) perfectly putting songs together to make the best wedding playlist!
